Located West of Shetland across blocks 205/21a, 205/22a and 205/26b, Lancaster is a significant discovery. In 2009, our drilling and testing discovered light oil (34-39.2° API).

Third party analysis of the results indicates there is potential for individual well flow rates of approximately 15,000 barrels per day. Significant upside potential could exist below structural closure as is seen in a number of fractured reservoir fields. We are keen to confirm this by further drilling and appraisal.
