Onshore
HEX is pursuing new exploration ideas in the Wessex Basin and Midland Valley of Scotland. The Wessex Basin is a proven petroleum system with notable discoveries including Wytch Farm. Licence PEDL 229 in the Wessex Basin benefits from an existing 2D seismic survey and previous drilling results. The Midland Valley of Scotland is historically the oldest proven petroleum system onshore UK, however it is an area which in many parts remains geologically poorly understood and lacking in modern geological data. As such Licence PEDL 160 offers significant potential to the creative explorer.
