Management Team - Hex Directors


CEO - Dr Robert Trice

24 years oil industry experience, having specialist technical experience of fractured reservoirs characterisation and evaluation. Robert gained the bulk of his geoscience experience with Enterprise Oil and Shell having worked in field development, exploration, wellsite operations and geological consultancy. In addition Robert has experience of fractured reservoir research and development, held the position of Visiting Professor at Trondheim University (Norway) and has published/presented on subjects related to fractured reservoirs and exploration for stratigraphic traps.

Chairman - Charles Good

40 years experience in the City's financial markets, including 30 years experience at board level of advising and building up SME's in industry, retail and financial services. Charles also has 10 years experience of the oil sector working in the UK, Egypt and the U.S.A. Charles is currently Chairman of Matrix Corporate Capital, part of the Matrix Group a London based, privately owned financial services business.

Executive Director - Nicholas Mardon Taylor

Over 30 years oil industry experience including finance director roles with Total, Saxon Oil, Carless & Alkane. Nicholas is also a non-executive director of Albemarle & Bond plc, an AIM listed company.

Chief Financial Officer - Nicholas Briggs

A graduate engineer and chartered accountant with 13 years' experience in UK and international oil and gas activities, Nicholas has held senior management positions with Technip, Perenco and, most recently, as Chief Financial Officer of Ethos Petroleum.

Non-executive Director - Bill Guest

Bill has many years technical/management experience in the UK independent oil sector having spent his formative years with Saxon and Shell. Bill was formerly technical and business development director of Monument Oil & Gas and more recently a director of Gulf Keystone.
